Berman & Simmons Supports Local Organizations During the Holiday

Each year the attorneys and staff at Berman & Simmons select three local non-profit organizations to support during the holiday season: This year, we’re happy to provide much needed gifts, supplies, and financial donations to the Greater Androscoggin Humane Society, New Beginnings, and Cooking for Community.  

• Greater Androscoggin Humane Society is a safe space for animals in need and a resource for community members and their animal companions. This compassionate community supports and promotes a safe and humane life for all animals.
• New Beginnings serves runaway and homeless youth and their families. Their services provide an essential “safety net” for young people in Maine.
• Cooking for Community is a Maine-based grassroots organization that raises money to hire local restaurants that need work to prepare healthy meals for people who need food, using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.

These select holiday contributions are part of Berman & Simmons year-long commitment to giving back to the communities where its attorneys and staff live and work.
